So, if Mia finds herself on the outs of The Joint Chiropractic for good, her net worth may see a dip over time.

In a teaser for Part 1 of the ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ reunion, Mia broke down her current status at The Joint Chiropractic.

The 38-year-old first gave fans some insight on her business struggles in a now-deleted Instagram post in October 2022.

“The person who Gordon selected to run [their] empire and who he thought would be the one to care for [her] and the kids has now manipulated the organizational structure,” Mia said in the post, per Page Six.

Additionally, Mia claimed her “salary will no longer continue past this next payroll cycle due to [her] unwavering loyalty to Gordon.”

Interestingly, Mia also accused Gordon’s brothers of betrayal and “robbing them of everything they own.” In fact, she got into more detail saying that Gordon’s siblings “recently revoked his access to the company bank account” while she and Gordon were “out of the country.”

Unfortunately, it appears that their business issues have also impacted their living situation. In a January 2023 Instagram post, Mia revealed that the Thorntons have moved from their rental property in Potomac, Md.

In the post, Mia claims that “unforeseen circumstances” were a factor and that the family planned on staying in the home for at least three years.

So, it’s safe to say that there has been no resolve between Gordon, Mia, and other partners at The Joint Chiropractic.

Additionally, a teaser for the forthcoming reunion also points out Mia possibly losing her standing as CEO of The Joint Chiropractic, but the cast appears to be confused by her explanation.

Mia explained that the company has a board with managing members controlling the entire operation. Apparently, Mia and Gordon sit on the board as owning members and are able to vote on various issues. Unfortunately, it appears that Mia and Gordon were voted out.

“Once the business sells, we get our percentage of the ownership,” Mia says. “So we will get a return on our investment. That’s what we’re leaning towards. We need to go ahead and just sell out of he company because clearly we can’t get along any longer.”

We’d like to wish Mia and Gordon all the best with their business endeavors.

Part 1 of The Real Housewives of Potomac reunion airs Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023, at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
