Feud Between Gloria Estefan And Jennifer Lopez – What Happened?

Gloria Estefan throws shades at Jennifer Lopez after revealing she turned down the 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Gloria Estefan clearly has a good sense of humor.

The legendary singer appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” earlier this week, revealing that she, too, had been asked to perform at the 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show alongside Shakira and Jennifer Lopez — an offer she ended up turning down, saying, “imagine what J. Lo would have said if I was the third [performer]!”

Gloria was lightheartedly poking fun at comments Jennifer made in her Netflix documentary, “Halftime,” where she expressed her frustration in having to share the stage with another performer when the Super Bowl Halftime Show is usually headlined by one musical act and not two.

“This is the worst idea in the world to have two people do the Super Bowl,” the mother-of-two was heard saying in her doc, annoyed that her set would be cut short in order to split time with Shakira.

“This is something I have been working for and hoping for years.” The “All I Have” singer’s longtime manager, Benny Medina, seemed just as irritated by the NFL’s decision in wanting to have two people headline the iconic halftime show in Miami.
