Why are Ludwig balls leaked trending?
Ludwig Ball Reveal or Ludwig Ball Leak refers to the accidental leak of YouTuber and Twitch streamer Ludwig Ahgren’s genitals that occurred during a recording of the Cold Ones podcast before being inadvertently posted onto Patreon in late 2022. The image of Ludwig’s scrotum spread around Twitter shortly after the episode came out, with several memes and reactions pushing the spread further as it became a prominent topic online in early November 2022.

On October 22nd, 2022, the episode of Cold Ones with Ludwig Ahgren went live on their YouTube channel with an extended edition being teased as coming out on Patreon the following weekend. The YouTube-edited version, which did not include the NSFW content, would gain over 1.2 million views in two weeks (shown below).
According to Ludwig, per KnowYourMemes, during the filming of the additional Patreon content and after several drinks and shots deep into the episode, he proceeded to put his hand in his pants and pull out his entire scrotum on camera, believing it to be funny at the time. Afterward, Chad, the host, reached out to Ludwig to say that his nuts were included and if they wanted to be censored out, to which Ludwig said, “Yeah LOL” (shown below).

In a follow-up tweet from Ludwig on November 1st, he clarified that Chad misinterpreted his reply as “all good,” which led to the eventual posting of the uncensored clip being shared on Patreon and people subsequently spreading it online shortly after.
In the afternoon of November 1st, 2022, Ludwig then responded to the incidental leak by tweeting out a picture of a pig with big balls, noting that the general sentiment was positive to the leak, with the reaction accumulating over 70,000 likes in two days.
